Holley

We all know moving to a new school can be difficult.  From finding the right group of people to hang out with to getting used to new scheduling, things are different and sometimes difficult.

I am such a proud mama!!  Holley has excelled all the way around!  Honestly, I knew she would!  People tried to scare her about being "the new girl" but she didn't let it get in her way.  She has remained true to herself and fit right in!  There has been drama ~ always drama in high school, but she didn't let it get her down.  She has pushed through it and has new friends.  Living in town is a help, she can hang out with people after school and not have to worry about missing the bus.

She was psyched about not having to take global the first semester here. The way this school works, Freshman Skills is a mandatory course for everyone here. To make way for it, global is postponed a year and then doubled up in the Sophmore year. They teach the 2 years in one. Since Saratoga didn't operate like that, she had her global 9 last year. SO, no global for the first semester!

Even with a new school, new friends, and a little drama, she has done well on her first report card, Superintendant's list!!!  Very first report card, with a different schedule set up than Saratoga, with more classes and shorter periods every day.

One proud mama!!  I knew she could do it!
Love you, Bug!!
